The Importance of Questions

Social Psychologists have suggested that it is impossible for the human mind to avoid attempting to answer a question once that mind fully understands the asked question.  Furthermore, if you don't like the answers that you have found to life's questions, you need to ask a better question.  For example, the question "why am I so fat?" may not have alot of good answers.  But the question "how can I lose 10 pounds and have fun at the same time?" is a better question.

Why do we ask?

We ask questions in order to reveal the truth in a situation (in the same way that we wipe the dust and crud off an antique to see whether it is valuable).
